- The footprint must include at minimum blue water footprint and ideally grey and green water use
- Reports should show year on year reduction in consumption
- Practices must be specific and implemented at scale
- Practices must target material impact, additionally if some operations are in water-stressed areas, practices must seek to reduce impact there
- Practices must be in place at the time the claim is issued- This company has measured its total water use and has taken active steps to reduce it. Measurements show a year-on-year decrease.
